Season of Giving

We thank Dr. Dev Joneja and Mr. Hemant Jalan for this support. This is indeed a huge boost to our SMRT project. This project has gained momentum due to the generosity shown by our alumni, well-wishers.

Soil Device

Developed by Prof. Jayant Singh (IITK) and his team, Bhu Parikshak will provide assistance to farmers by determining soil nutrient contents with prediction of fertilizers for particular crop with specific field size.

Foundation Day

The 62^nd Foundation Day of was graced by the presence of IITK BoG Chairman, Dr. K. Radhakrishnan esteemed alumni and their families, and IITK Faculty.

Cultural Activities

The cultural activities at IITK nourish the mind, body and spirit of the campus community. The student community is very enthusiastic about all forms of cultural expression.

Alumni Day

As you enter IIT Kanpur campus, you are flooded with memories of what it used to be – your home away from home. A home built with bricks of learning, growth, happiness and friendship.

Convocation Day

54th Convocation of IIT Kanpur, held on 28 Dec. 2021, was graced by the Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji as the Chief Guest, and the Chief Minister of the State of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Yogi Aditynath Ji was the Guest of Honor.

Award

IIT Kanpur celebrates its Foundation Day every year on the 2nd of November. On this occasion special awards are bestowed upon the selected alumni for their outstanding achievements in their respective fields. Among the awardees were eminent scientists, industry experts, technocrats, and social activists, some of them pioneers in their respective fields.

I am honored to take over as Dean, Resources & Alumni of IITK, and extend a sincere thanks for your overwhelming welcome wishes.
