AlmaKonnect is a new platform where Alumni will connect with the students on a regular basis virtually or impersonally to foster a sense of community, promote learning beyond the classroom, and provide valuable connections and resources as the students navigate their academic and professional journeys.

The 62nd Foundation Day of was graced by the presence of IITK BoG Chairman, Dr. K. Radhakrishnan esteemed alumni and their families, and IITK Faculty.
The cultural activities at IITK nourish the mind, body and spirit of the campus community. The student community is very enthusiastic about all forms of cultural expression.

The DoRA office plays a vital role in IIT Kanpur's success. It bridges the gap between the institute and its alumni,
fostering strong connections. The mission is two-fold: to strengthen these bonds and secure resources to fuel the institute's
long-term goals. To professionalize alumni engagement, the institute established the IITK Development Foundation (IITK DF) in 2020,
led by CEO Mr. Kapil Kaul. An extended arm of the DoRA office, IITK DF’s team works with alumni, corporations, and philanthropists to raise funds.
